Bemerkung:   Es handelt sich um eine Kopie eines Texts von Jean-Christophe Ammann über die Werkserie "Porträts" von Thomas Ruff. Dem Text ist eine Namensliste der Porträtierten vorangestellt, die Ammann durch Ruff zugesandt wurde. Das Schreiben befindet sich ebenfalls im Archiv (JCA1RUFF007). Der finale Text wurde im Ausstellungskatalog zum Dorothea von Stetten-Kunstpreis 1990 auf Seite 82-85 abgedruckt. Der Katalog befindet sich ebenfalls im Archiv (JCA1RUFF012). Es liegen zwei Exemplare der Kopie des Typoskriptes im Archiv vor. Auf der fünften Seite des ersten Exemplars wurden zwei kleine Textänderungen durch Ammann notiert. // This is a photocopy of a text by Jean-Christophe Ammann about Thomas Ruff’s series "Porträts". The text is preceded by a list of names of the portrayed persons which Ruff sent to Ammann . The letter is also in the archive (JCA1RUFF007). The final text was printed in the exhibition catalog for the Dorothea von Stetten Art Prize 1990 on pages 82–85. The catalog is also in the archive (JCA1RUFF012). There are two copies of the copy of the typescript in the archive. Ammann noted two minor changes to the text on the fifth page of the first copy.
