Bemerkung:   Bei dem mit Schreibmaschine verfassten Brief von Thomas Ruff an Jean-Christophe Ammann handelt sich um die Namensliste der Personen, die er für seine Werkeserie "Porträts" fotografiert hat. Anlässlich des Dorothea von Stetten-Kunstpreises verfasste Ammann 1990 den Text für den Begleitkatalog. Dafür erbat er von Ruff eine Liste aller von ihm bis dato porträtierten Personen und stellte diese seinem Text über Thomas Ruff voran. Der Katalog befindet sich ebenfalls im Archiv (JCA1RUFF012). Die Liste wurde auf Seite 82-83 abgedruckt. // Thomas Ruff's typewritten letter to Jean-Christophe Ammann lists the names of the people he photographed for his series "Porträts". Ammann wrote the text for the accompanying catalog in 1990 on the occasion of the Dorothea von Stetten Art Prize. For this purpose, he asked Ruff for a list of all the people he had portrayed to date, which he then contributed to the catalog along with his text on Thomas Ruff. The catalog is also in the archive (JCA1RUFF012). The list appears on pages 82–83.
