Inhaltsangabe: Files 55-60 contain letters sent by Hillis Menze (signed as "Greifhillgreif") to Karl Wolfskehl (addressed as "Greif"). Several letters seem to be incomplete.The letters of files 58-60 were primarily written from a farm called "Hatzenhof" under Gertrud Osthaus' guidance near Parsberg in Upper Palatinate, where Menze started working in about 1922 after leaving the agricultural settlement of Frankenfeld.The letters describe / pertain to: Menze's arrival at "Hatzenhof"; the fate of other women from the settlement in Frankenfeld; another settlement in Meran founded by former members of the Frankenfeld community; Gertrud Osthaus' artist colony in Hagen / "Hohenhof" and arguments with the artist Ernst Fuhrmann (head of the Folkwang-Verlag founded by Ernst Osthaus); interaction of the group in Hatzenhof; agricultural work; plan to go to Italy and join other women from Frankenfeld
