Inhaltsangabe: Series II consists of 3 subseries (manuscripts, letters, and documents). All materials are connected to the interaction between Karl Wolfskehl and Salman Schocken and stem from the period after Wolfskehl's emigration to Italy in 1933. Many materials pertain at least partly to the sale of Wolfskehl's library: The series contains the letters Wolfskehl sent to Schocken between 1934 and 1938 which among other things also discuss the library. The series also includes the inventory (4 volumes) of the library which was created after Schocken's purchase in 1937 as well as the so-called "Catalogue raisonnée," the uncompleted commented catalogue of the library, by Wolfskehl from 1938.Other manuscripts by Karl Wolfskehl are either connected to "Die Stimme spricht" (1934), other (envisioned) publications of the Schocken publishing house, or were given to Schocken by Wolfskehl after the war such as a notebook with drafts of poems.
