Bemerkung:   Mit der Einladungskarte lädt das Optica-Centre d’Art Contemporain in Montreal zur Ausstellung „Going thru the Motions“ von General Idea ein, die von der Eröffnung am 24. Januar bis zum 25. Februar 1977 zu sehen ist. Neben den Ausstellungsinformationen und der Adresse von Optica, ist auf der Karte ein Dankeschön, an die Carmen Lamanna Gallery (Toronto) für deren Unterstützung abgedruckt. Auf der Rückseite der Karte ist die s/w-Fotografie „No Mean Feet“ (1973–1974) von General Idea abgedruckt, die ein nacktes Bein in einem schimmernden Schnürschuh mit hohem, spitzem Absatz zeigt, den „The Miss General Idea Shoe“. Am Ende des Absatzes ist ein Zirkel befestigt, mit dem bereits der zweite Kreis auf den Boden gezeichnet wird. // With this invitation card, the Optica-Centre d’Art Contemporain in Montreal invites you to the exhibition “Going thru the Motions” by General Idea, which can be seen from the opening on 24 January until 25 February 1977. In addition to the exhibition information and the address of Optica, a thank you to the Carmen Lamanna Gallery (Toronto) for their support is printed on the card. On the back of the card is the b/w photograph “No Mean Feet” (1973–74) by General Idea, which shows a bare leg in a shimmering lace-up shoe with a high, pointed heel, the “The Miss General Idea Shoe.” A compass is attached to the end of the heel, with which the second circle is already being drawn on the floor.
